FacelessHype vs InVideo has changed this year. InVideo says on its own site that its old InVideo AI product ran until April 2026, and that it is now an AI agent with a professional timeline editor. It bills each video model close to what the model costs.
FacelessHype is narrower. You type an idea, pick a format, and get a finished 9:16 Short with a voice, captions and music. InVideo's numbers below come from its pricing and help pages, read on November 1, 2026. Ours are on the pricing page.

InVideo served its pricing page to us in euros: Starter is 20 euros a month for 400 credits. Third party trackers list it at $20, so we use about 5 cents a credit. Its help pages list Veo 3.1 Lite at 4.80 to 25.60 credits per clip of 4 to 8 seconds, so 30 seconds at 720p is about 36 credits. A separate InVideo help page lists older plan names (Basic, Pro, Ultra), so check the live page before you buy.
Price per video
Raw clips. InVideo's pricing is close to the model's own cost. A 30 second set of Veo 3.1 Lite clips at 720p is about 36 credits, about $1.80 on Starter. At 1080p it is up to about 96 credits.
What is not in that price. The script, the voice (ElevenLabs voice is 3.20 credits per 1,000 characters), pictures, music and your time in the editor. InVideo does not publish one price for a finished 30 second Short.
FacelessHype. A finished 30 second AI video Short is $2.66 on Starter, $19 a month, made with Veo 3.1 Lite, with the voice, captions and music included. A 30 second AI photo Short is $0.68. Starter covers about 27 AI photo Shorts or 7 AI video Shorts a month.
On our biggest plan billed yearly, those are $0.48 and $1.85. Plan credits do not roll over, credits you buy never expire, and all payments are final.
Which one makes more viral Shorts?
No tool can promise views. But a tool can help you start from patterns that already work, and that is where these two differ most.
We found no trending feed, no link remix, no hook tool for Shorts and no trend formats on InVideo's public pages. You describe the video to its agent, and you shape it in the editor.
FacelessHype starts from what is trending:
- A viral feed of trending Shorts for each format, each linked to the original post.
- Remix from a link. Paste a TikTok, YouTube or Instagram link and FacelessHype plans your own version, with new pictures and voice. It never reuses the footage or audio.
- Hook ideas. Five scored opening lines for your topic.
- Trending formats. Fruit dramas, talking objects, history POV and stickman explainers.
- Three caption styles made for phones, and music picked by mood or uploaded by you.
Where InVideo wins
- A real editor. A timeline, team editing and fine control over every cut.
- Many models, for video, pictures, voice and music.
- Close to cost pricing for raw clips, if you already have a script and voice.
- Agent access through MCP and a command line tool.
Where FacelessHype wins
- One price for the finished Short. $2.66 for 30 seconds of AI video with everything in it.
- Viral tools in the same screen: feed, remix, hooks and trending formats.
- No editing needed. One idea, one finished MP4.
- Long videos up to 50 minutes on Pro and Studio.
FacelessHype does not post to your accounts: you download the MP4 and post it yourself. For every tool ranked on one measure, see the best faceless video generators.
Quick answers
Is InVideo cheaper than FacelessHype for AI video? For raw Veo 3.1 Lite clips, it can be: about 36 credits for 30 seconds at 720p, about $1.80 on Starter. That buys the clips only. On FacelessHype, $2.66 buys the finished 30 second Short with the script, voice, captions and music.
Does InVideo still use templates? InVideo says its old template editor is now a grandfathered product. The current InVideo is an AI agent with a timeline editor, where you describe what you want.
Which one is better for viral Shorts? FacelessHype, if you want to start from trends: it has a viral feed, link remix, hook ideas and ready formats like fruit dramas. We found none of these on InVideo's public pages. InVideo is better for hand editing.
