FacelessHype vs AutoShorts.ai comes down to one choice: do you want a series that runs on its own, or do you want to pick each Short and start it from what is already working? The two tools are built for those two ways of working, and the price per video follows from it.
AutoShorts numbers below come from its own site, read on November 1, 2026. Ours are on the pricing page.

The AutoShorts price per video is our arithmetic: $19 divided by about 13 posts a month. Yearly plans are "2 months free", and no yearly price is shown.
Price per video
Both tools start at about the same monthly price. What you get for it is different.
AutoShorts Starter makes one series and posts 3 times a week. That is about 13 videos a month, so each one costs about $1.46. The price is the same whatever length it picks. Its Daily plan ($39, once a day) works out to about $1.30 a video, and Hardcore ($69, twice a day) to about $1.15.
FacelessHype Starter gives you 250 credits a month. A 30 second AI photo Short is $0.68, so the plan covers about 27 of them. A 30 second AI video Short, with every scene made by Veo 3.1 Lite, is $2.66. You choose the mix.
AI video. AutoShorts makes still images by default and uses "motion credits" to animate them. Starter has 27 a month, and the site does not say how many a video uses, so we cannot give a price per AI video Short.
On our biggest plan billed yearly, the two Shorts cost $0.48 and $1.85. Plan credits do not roll over, credits you buy never expire, and all payments are final.
Which one makes more viral Shorts?
No tool can promise views. What helps is starting each video from a pattern that is already working, and that is where the two tools differ most.
AutoShorts picks topics from a preset list or your own prompt, then writes and posts on schedule. Its public pages do not describe a trending feed, a hook tool or a way to remix a viral video.
FacelessHype puts those tools next to the create button:
- A viral feed of trending Shorts for each format, each linked to the original post.
- Remix from a link. Paste a TikTok, YouTube or Instagram link, and FacelessHype plans your own version of the idea. It never copies the footage or audio.
- Hook ideas. Five scored opening lines for your topic. The video hooks guide shows why the first line matters.
- Trending formats. Fruit dramas, talking objects, history POV and stickman explainers.
If you want to steer each video toward what is trending this week, that control is the point of FacelessHype.
